Week 6 Weight: 153.4
Body Fat %: 11.4
I was not confident in positive results this week. I didn’t push workouts as hard as I could have. I felt like eating healthier was beginning to slip from my grasp. The increase in weight wasn’t a surprise, but to measure my body and find out it went down in body fat % was enlightening.
It taught me to not beat myself up, especially since results ended up working out in my favor. I’m beginning to feel powerful, more confident, and ready to take on anything.
An opportunity for myself eating wise is to work on my meal prepping. I got a little lazy this week and would either eat a meal at a restaurant or eat very little (ex. A banana for breakfast).
I want to eat bigger meals, but it can’t be a bunch of junk either. Finding that happy medium is the goal.
I’m at the point in my life where I could be criticized and I wouldn’t care or stress over it. It’s easy to be self-conscious about our bodies, whether you’re a woman or a man. “You need to lose weight. You need to gain weight. You need more muscle.” The list goes on. Casting judgement on others is way easier than the work and dedication one needs to put into following a healthy lifestyle. And then when you are reaching goals, you might start to notice that some people will still criticize you/feel jealous/never be happy for you.
Those people are never worth your time. And if someone in your life is accomplishing goals, fitness related or just in general, praise them. Be happy for them; that extra minute of gratitude lifts not only their mood but your own.
I hope everyone who is reading this is having a positive day and for anyone who isn’t, I’m sending some positive energy your way :).
